The UC Sexual Violence and Harassment, Anti-Discrimination, Prevention and Education (SHAPE) course is available for students to complete through Bruin Learn.

You can access the required TITLE IX SHAPE Training under “COURSES” in Bruin Learn. The Title IX SHAPE Training includes the following three (3) required modules:

  1. The Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment (SVSH) Prevention Training
  2. The Anti-Discrimination Policy and FAQ
  3. The final test, which you must complete with a 10 out of 10; and achieve 100% on the Quiz

You must complete ALL THREE (3) MODULES with 100% on the QUIZ to meet compliance requirements!

All students must complete the Sexual Violence and Harassment, Anti-Discrimination, Prevention and Education (SHAPE) training as required by the University of California. The deadline for Fall 2025 students to complete the required training was NOVEMBER 19, 2025. For students who were not previously assigned the training in Fall 2025 and were newly assigned the training in Winter 2026, the deadline to complete the training is APRIL 6, 2026.

Failure to complete the training by the designated due date will result in a hold on your UCLA student account, which will restrict access to services such as registration, enrollment, and recreational facilities. If your deadline to complete the SHAPE training was NOVEMBER 19, 2025, you now have a hold on your student account! Holds are typically lifted within 2–3 business days after training completion.

UCLA is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful campus environment, free from sex discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual violence. As part of this commitment, all UC students are required to complete the SHAPE course.
