
If a party Contests, or is presumed to contest a hearing is held to determine whether a policy violation occurred
- Either party may contest the preliminary findings within 20 days of the notice. If student conduct proposes sanctions, the respondent is presumed to contest.
- The Hearing Coordinator contacts the Parties and notifies them of the Hearing Officer identity.
- The Hearing Officer schedules a pre-hearing meeting to discuss procedure and scope
- The Hearing is conducted. The Hearing Officer issues a decision 15 days after the Hearing.
